Self-Screening assessment
Since BFCC’s initial quarantine-mandated closure in 2020, we have been responding to emergent patient needs; still to this day (October 2025), we continue to comply with current health care mandates, and prepare and revise our practice procedures. The following list of measures and resources have been established for your safety in order to provide your necessary chiropractic care:
All patients must complete the self-screening assessment (below) before attending their appointment.
To assist with everyone's safety and fulfill the expected professional and government protocol (linked below) we practice paced appointment booking.
Booked appointments are prioritized & appreciated.
Promptly attend your appointment at the designated time to help us control the number of patients in the clinic as well as expected patients for booked appointments.
No early clinic admittance prior to 8am or 2pm for our stated collective safety concerns and clinic cleaning and resetting needs.
Patients and staff who are not experiencing symptoms are not required to wear personal face masks while in the clinic but may prefer to do so. Further, during cold and flu season (~October - April), we strongly recommend that you bring a mask to wear within the clinic at all times to protect yourself, and vulnerable patients within our community.
A protective acrylic shield has been installed at the front desk with openings for transactions.
To further reduce surface contact as much as possible:
Patient sign-in upon entry has been temporarily discontinued.
Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and available in adjusting rooms.
Seating has been modified in our reception and adjusting rooms to respect physical distancing measures.
Disinfection protocols are in place for high touch areas, including adjusting tables.
Use of our digital filing system is in place to avoid all paper handling in the office:
Payment for services will be cashless (by major credit or debit cards only; no cash will be kept on site for change).
Transaction / receipt and annual account statements will be emailed to each patient as necessary.

Have you or any individual in your group experienced any of the following respiratory symptoms?
Fever and/or chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, headache, decrease in sense of smell or taste, runny nose, or nasal congestion.
If you do not have any of the symptoms listed: You have screened NEGATIVE. You may continue with your in‑person appointment, and nothing further is needed from you.
If you do have any of the symptoms listed: You have screened POSITIVE. You may continue with your in-person appointment, but kindly:
Bring a mask to wear within the clinic at all times.
Complete a Rapid Antigen COVID-19 test prior to your appointment if possible (learn more about Rapid Antigen tests and where to find them here). Having the results from a COVID-19 test is helpful to ensure appropriate precautions are taken to keep our patient community and staff safe.
